a punk svengali
a prophet fine tuned
to the greatest frequency

truth is the lack of permission
found in a sardonic comic's
second thoughts
during intermission.

truth is the stye
in your eye
snickering silently
daring you to lie.

truth is a delusional
self involved egocentric woman
taking a trip down memory lane
just because she can.

truth is our beliefs, our values,
and our goals on hold.
tears dry on faces
as hearts burn tenfold.

truth is intellectual stimulation,
culture, and a blond with nice boobs
mathematics mingles with science
life forged in test tubes

truth is getting
no god damn satisfaction
until that warm moist
feeling of fundamental interaction.

truth is letting her go
when you want her to stay
heartbroken angels
have wings that obey.

truth is the blend
that amends, and ascends,
extends, and transcends
the influence that drives you 'til the end.
